My name is Beenish Shahid, and I am an independent female photographer driven by creativity and a deep love for capturing moments in time. Photography is not just my career—it’s my passion, inspired by my interest in psychology and understanding people. I love making my clients feel comfortable and natural during shoots, something they often appreciate and mention in their reviews.  


As a wife and mother of three wonderful children, I am grateful for the constant support of my husband and the encouragement of my family. Balancing my family life, household responsibilities, and my photography business is a challenge I embrace with dedication and love.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I book a session?

You can book your session by contacting me directly through my website, Instagram @beenishphotography, or by texting/calling 416-737-3962. A 50% non-refundable deposit and a signed contract are required to secure your date.


When should I book my wedding or event?

Weddings and large events should be booked 6–12 months in advance to ensure your date is available. For smaller sessions like family or headshots, booking 2–3 weeks in advance is usually perfect.

Do you travel for weddings or sessions?

Yes! I love capturing love stories in new places. Travel within the GTA (Vaughan, Brampton, Mississauga, Toronto) is included in most packages. For sessions outside the area, a small travel fee may apply.


How long will it take to receive my photos?

You’ll receive a beautiful online gallery of edited, high-resolution images within 3–5 weeks for weddings and 1–2 weeks for regular sessions. Sneak peeks are often shared earlier!


How many photos do I get?

Each package includes a set number of edited images, depending on the session type. For weddings, you typically receive 400–800 edited photos, while portrait or family sessions include 10–30 edited images.


Do you edit all the photos?

Yes! Every image you receive is professionally edited in my signature soft, romantic style — including color correction, lighting enhancement, and skin retouching for a polished yet natural look.

Can I get the raw or unedited images?

No, I do not provide raw or unedited images. Each final photo represents my artistic vision and editing style — ensuring your gallery looks cohesive and timeless.


What should we wear for our session?

I always recommend neutral, pastel, or earthy tones that photograph beautifully in natural light. Avoid busy patterns or large logos. I’ll help guide you with outfit inspiration based on your theme and location.

What happens if it rains or we need to reschedule?

No worries! We can reschedule to the next available date or switch to an indoor location. I always work closely with you to make sure your session goes smoothly, rain or shine.


Can you help with posing?

Absolutely! I guide you through every step — from natural poses to candid moments — so you feel comfortable, confident, and camera-ready throughout the session.

How do I prepare for my wedding photography?

Once you book, I’ll share a pre-wedding guide to help you plan your timeline, lighting preferences, and must-have shots — so your day flows effortlessly.
